So nice to hear of a positive kitchen renovation story! My family did ours a few years ago now, and while it’s infinitely better than what we had, there were so many lessons learnt that we’d never repeat again (unfortunately). The first being don’t be convinced to get a honed granite bench top. Everything stains and marks (including water!) and looks terrible quickly!

Oh yes natural stone is actually not resilient. And engineered stone become illegal on Monday here.
