We call these Nanaimo bars! perhaps after the city in British Columbia, or more likely a colonial brought the recipe over and claimed it as their own! I will try your version. YUM.
Do you know I’ve o Lu just discovered that. I saw some at a store named so and was struck by their appearance so bought one…for research purposes 😉. Now I’m intrigued by where my Nana would have acquired such a recipe. So many kitchen questions I have for her. If only I’d known to ask.
